Aleksandar Davkov – Youth in Rural Development

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the people who made it possible for me to visit the beautiful country of Cyprus and have an unusual experience in the rural areas of Cyprus.

Our training took place in a beautiful mountainous area of ​​Agros. From August 31 to September 7, 2019, we had the opportunity to learn from 30 countries together and get to know the spirit of the village of Agros, a small place with many kind and hospitable residents. The training was conducted in the best way, through various workshops, discussions and teamwork we focused on the topic. The aim of our project was to learn more about rural development and to get acquainted with all the features and problems we could face. We had the opportunity to get to know the daily life of the people living in the village better by visiting local factories and various family businesses.

We were genuinely surprised by the visit of the Minister of Agriculture of Cyprus with whom we had the opportunity to discuss various topics on rural development and what techniques they use to improve agriculture. Big thanks to the organizers and the ERASMUS + program for giving us the opportunity to learn something new and make friends around the world.
