Ana Atanasova – Youth in Rural Development

From 31.8-7.9.2019, the “Youth On Board” organization allowed me to be a part of training course “Youth in rural development” which was held in small village called Agros in Cyprus. This was my first experience with this organization as well as my first ERASMUS+ experience. I was introduced to the way the organization works and the process of youth exchanges, and I am pleased. Regarding the training course, the topic we focused on was rural development and the various problems we face in that area.

Through ongoing discussions, different activities, and team work organized by the hosts, we looked at the problems and the solutions themselves implemented by other countries that were part of the project. We had the opportunity to get to know all this in reality, by visiting  factories that use natural resources and also take care for the environment. Together with the other participants, through mutual hanging we had wonderful moments and we made lifelong friendships. The overall experience of this project has provided me with new knowledge and skills that will help me in the future.
