Meet our trainer Stefan Postolov!
Stefan is currently studying a master’s degree in electrical energy engineering at the University in Bologna, Italy. Previously he worked as an electrical engineer at a local company and later as a trainee at the Institute of Engineering, at the University of Algarve, Portugal. He gained his degree at the Goce Delchev University as a Graduate Electrical Engineer in the fields of Renewable Energy Sources. His youth work dates back from high school where he was one of the cofounders of the student organization. Furthermore, he continues his commitment of being part of the active youth of our town by becoming associate of the Youth Council of the Municipality of Stip and later on participating in different NGOs.
Stefan grew from participating in events, workshops, exchanges to actually developing his ideas and executing them in events organized and led by himself.
Stefan is qualified and experienced youth Worker with a
wealth of experience at an international level. He has worked at both delivery
and management levels and project managed a variety of issue based programmes
that have ranged from youth democracy, youth participation and advocacy.
He has a passion for
youth participation and in supporting both young people and those who work with
them to realise their full potential and he is inspired to make a difference by
sharing his experiences and knowledge particularly with families and youth.
He is open to new ideas, committed to the development of the human potential, creative expression and leadership skills.
Stefan enjoys traveling and is always interested meeting new cultures and places. By the moment he has traveled in Spain, Portugal, Italy, Germany, Poland, Belgium, Luxemburg, Netherlands, Slovakia and part of the Balkan countries.
He strongly believes in a quote by Miguel de Unamuno – Fascism is cured by reading, and racism is cured by traveling.
