The pandemic situation has brought young people closer to nature. Therefore, we can focus on building new capacities for sustainable environmental development. The main purpose of the project is to gather youths, students, researchers, scientists, experts and professors from North Macedonia, Kosovo, Albania, Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina in order to discuss one of the most important challenges in the Western Balkans – the Environmental protection and the sustainable development of the region. Educational and motivating training sessions, followed by outdoor and indoor laboratory workshops will be organized to achieve the project idea’s objective. Scientific conference meetings will be summarized and reproduce the beneficial outcomes of the initial project idea. This project will result in the database for Critical Environmental issues and models for environmentally sustainable development after the COVID pandemic in WB. Moreover, this project will contribute to upgrading the existing study programs in the area of Environment and introducing new multidisciplinary study programs for Environmental protection and climate change at the Universities from WB. A scientific book of abstracts and Handbook guidelines will be prepared by the project participants that later on can be used by youngsters and relevant stakeholders.

Specific: The main purpose of the project will be to gather 70 youths, students, researchers, scientists, experts and professors where they can discuss and propose new methods for environmental protection and sustainability. During the 3 days events representative professors and experts will train and motivationally will educate students and youth from 5 Western Balkan countries. Training sessions and practise workshops will be organized titled as “ONE for ALL, all for the green environment”. The main purpose of the conference meeting will be to generate a sustainable tool for distributing the GREEN ideas for ZERO pollution. Moreover, this project will contribute to upgrading the existing study programs in the area of Environment and introducing new multidisciplinary study programs for Environmental protection and climate change at the Universities from WB.
