This activity will be organized as 5 day blended mobility of young people which will take a place in Germany, organized by the German partner organization. The event will be organized outdoor, in available green outdoor spaces. The host organization is selected based on available outdoor facilities as well as their experience in outdoor activities and
events. Namely, the hometown of the German project partner is a place rich with outdoor facilities including large green spaces and parks. Nearly 80% of the population in the city use bicycles, making them experienced in preparing and implementing protocols for outdoor activity and safety. Five participants from each country will take active participation in this last project mobility. During the training, young people will be trained and educated in different aspects related to the organization of outdoor sports events with an emphasis on safety and risk prevention. Young people will be educated on how to select a proper place for outdoor activities and events, how to create a program for such events, select proper activities, search for required tools and equipment needed for outdoor activities etc. Through direct participation in outdoor activities such as hiking, cycling, orienting, and outdoor games, young workers will acquire skills and knowledge for risks in a different outdoor environment, risks related to weather conditions and characteristics of the outdoor place, safety precautions, environment protection etc. Young workers will be also educated on the proper use of required equipment, organization of small or larger groups, outdoor events, instructions for safety protocols and their implementation etc. The main goal of the training will be to educate young people participating in the project about possible risks and difficulties that can occur while being outdoors, manners to deal with them, race the awareness for environmental protection and the possibilities of nature for outdoor sport. Supporting this learning experience with practical participation in activities will provide the development of skills required for outdoor education. Such skills will improve self–confidence, self–awareness, communication and cooperation skills, teamwork etc. Based on practical outdoor experience, acquired skills and feedback for their personal participation, outdoor safety and risk prevention guide will be produced. It will be created by young workers and supported by researchers. It will contain guidance on how and what to prepare for outdoor activity, how to organize travelling to and from the particular outdoor place, how to select the appropriate period for outdoor activity considering weather conditions and activity-specific requirements, safety instructions on how to move, act and stay in nature, potential risks and how to deal whit them, the contact with nature, how to protect it and leave it as it is and other important recommendations that will make the outdoor stay an amazing experience. The main point from the safety guide will be extracted and presented as a short leaflet titled “10 survival tips” and safety roles while being outdoor”. It will be designed to be user-friendly, easy to remember and easy to share, aimed to be used during all outdoor activities.
