Verica Dimitrova – YE in Slovenia

When applying, I was so sure that this opportunity would bring me a lot of motivation, fulfilling experiences and inspiration. This was my first Erasmus + project and I hope it won’t be the last. The first reason why I wanted to go was to travel. Travel brings me happiness that I can’t explain. Travelling means exploring a new culture and getting lost in unfamiliar places. I had an amazing experience, I met a lot of interesting people with different characters and thoughts. I’m glad that I was a part of this project in Murska Sobota. I learned a lot of stuff about mental health, how to deal with stress, negative thoughts and energy and how to stay more positive in hard times. The memories from this project will stay forever, I had the best adventure in my life. It was really hard to say goodbye to these people, they became a part of my life. I’m really thankful to the Youth on Board for this experience and that I was a part of this project.
