YOB celebrates World Mental Health Day

World Mental Health Day

Fear, worry, and stress are normal feelings and responses to everyday life when we face an insecure and unknown situation. It is quite common and understandable that many people feel scared during the pandemic these days. Added to the fear of infection, numerous movement restrictions have forced many people into working from home and occasional unemployment. Fun, socializing, and education have also been adapted to this emerging situation. It is safe to say that the pandemic has had an impact on both physical and mental health.

In light of the upcoming World Mental Health Day, our organization is organizing an outdoor workshop. The workshop is a part of a multi-year project “Ambassadors of Health” which aims to promote health and a healthy lifestyle.

The workshop will take place in the open yard area of the private high school SABA, starting at 11:30. We are organizing this project together with our long-term collaborators SABA and WBAA. Our Ambassadors of Health Marinela Serafimova, Dragana Zlatanova, and Martina Serafimova, are all students of the medical faculty in Stip. They will lead this workshop and try to share all their knowledge with the participants.

World Mental Health Day is celebrated each year on October 10th.
