The aim of the project “The European Union – Past, Present, Future” is to broaden knowledge about the history of the European Union and to show the benefits of EU membership, especially for young people. The project is carried out in partnership – the Hearing about Europe Association (Poland), the ETV Eurotreviso Association (Italy) and the Youth on Board Association (North Macedonia). Thanks to the participation in the project of countries with different integration experiences (Italy – the founding country), Poland (member since 2004), and North Macedonia (candidate country), young people learn about different perspectives of European integration and approaches to the Union. Equally important, our activities will take place not in large cities, but in smaller towns, thanks to which we will reach people who have limited access to information.

Partners:
- Youth on Board, North Macedonia
- EuroTreviso, Italy

Results:
-3 events are entitled “EU Festival” in each partner country, which will include debates, table discussions, a European youth workshop, a European Union knowledge contest and a presentation of youth work. In addition to young people, the meetings will be attended by representatives of all partner countries, external experts, local government officials, lecturers and seniors;
- Meeting representatives from the participant's countries.

Objectives:
- The main effect of the project will be the works of young people as part of the “I – European” competition, all works will be translated into English and posted on the Internet, and the winners of individual competitions will go abroad for specific events with partners.
