CAP4YOUTH-Meeting in Stip

Participants from Youth on Board and Jugendagentur gGmbH came together as part of the CAP4YOUTH – Joint Steps to Foster Youth Participation project to exchange experiences, good practices, and ideas on youth participation, active citizenship, and youth engagement.
🗣️ Through discussions on challenges, trends, and realities of youth participation, participants explored and compared youth participation systems in North Macedonia and Germany, while sharing experiences from their local communities and identifying innovative approaches to engaging young people in decision-making processes.
🏛️ At the Municipality of Štip, participants went beyond theory and discovered how local governance functions in practice, learning about youth policies, participation mechanisms, and the important role young people can play in shaping their communities.
🌆 The programme also included cultural activities around the city of Štip, providing participants with the opportunity to discover local traditions, connect with the community, strengthen intercultural exchange, and experience the rich cultural heritage of the region.
🤝 Three days filled with learning, networking, inspiration, new ideas, and stronger partnerships for fostering meaningful youth participation!
