One of the highlights of our CAP4YOUTH – Joint Steps to Foster Youth Participation Job Shadowing was the opportunity to hear directly from young people who are actively shaping their communities.
💬 Through the session “Real Stories, Real Impact: Youth Voices from North Macedonia & Germany”, Todor Marjanovik (Youth on Board), Esmeralda Temizyüz, and Jonas Dehmel (Youth Agency, Germany) shared their personal journeys, experiences in youth work, and the impact that participation has had on their personal and professional development. Their stories demonstrated how youth engagement can empower young people, create opportunities, and inspire positive change.
🇪🇺 Participants also gained valuable insights during “Europe Speaks: Insights from European Youth Week”, presented by Kristina Gastarova (Youth on Board), who shared key discussions, opportunities, and lessons from one of Europe’s largest youth participation events.
📱 Together with high school students, we explored “Digital Generation: How Youth Participate Today”, discussing how young people use digital tools, social media, and innovative approaches to make their voices heard. The workshop sparked meaningful conversations, encouraged the exchange of ideas, and inspired new concepts for youth-led campaigns and initiatives that could be implemented in North Macedonia.
