Our presentation against online hate speech among the youngsters continued in the Medical School SOU Jane Sandanski.
During the presentation, we explored:
🚫 What hate speech looks like in a school setting
🧠 How it impacts student mental health and school culture
📣 Real stories from students and educators
✅ What we can do to stop it — together
Here are 5 key takeaways to fight hate speech every day:
☑️Call it out – Don’t stay silent. If you witness hate speech, speak up or report it to a trusted adult. Silence can look like agreement.
☑️Educate yourself and others – Learn about different cultures, identities, and the impact of words. Share what you know.
☑️Support those targeted – Check in on classmates affected by hate speech. A simple “Are you okay?” can go a long way.
☑️Lead by example – Choose inclusive language and challenge harmful jokes or slurs, even when it’s uncomfortable.
☑️Encourage policy change – Push for clear anti-hate speech policies in your school’s code of conduct and better training for staff.
Together, we can create a culture where hate has no home! Visit our report portal and report it🫶👐 https://report-hate.org/mk/
